MockToHire ("we", "us") offers free resume reviews by verified working professionals through mocktohire.in. This policy explains what we collect when you request a review, why, and what your choices are.
1. What we collect
- Name, email address and mobile number
- College name and year of study (optional)
- The role you are preparing for
- Your resume file (PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 10 MB)
- Anything you write about your interview struggles (optional)
- Basic usage data (pages viewed, device and browser type) collected by Google Analytics
2. How we use it
- To review your resume and send you feedback
- To contact you about your request, including the discount code we promise
- To tell you when mock interviews and other MockToHire services launch, if you have asked to be kept informed
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Who can see your resume
Your details and resume are stored in Google Workspace tools (Google Sheets and Google Drive) that are accessible only to MockToHire and the verified professionals who review your resume. Google acts as our service provider for storage and analytics.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your details and resume only as long as needed to complete your review and follow up with you, and delete them when you ask us to.
5. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent at any time, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not include sensitive identifiers (such as Aadhaar or PAN numbers) in your resume.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as we add new services. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
